I am a qualified secondary science specialist with over a decade of experience across mainstream and alternative provisions. With a Master’s in Educational Practice and Research my approach will always be connection first.
As a late-diagnosed ADHD woman, my commitment to neuro-affirming practice is both professional and personal. I transitioned away from mainstream leadership roles to focus on sustainable, inclusive-first teaching where young people don’t have to mask to succeed. Whether I’m linking nuclear physics to the Cold War for a history-loving learner or using rhythmic movement to help a learner regulate, I believe in autonomy and the power of being seen.
Outside of teaching, I am a keen advocate for the restorative power of the outdoors. I love running and climbing, and I find balance through hiking and exploring new landscapes in my campervan. A dedicated reader and animal lover, I value the perspective and regulation that come from movement, nature, and quiet immersion in a good book.
