Science

I am the Science Educator at The Haven, where I am passionate about making learning engaging, meaningful, and relevant for every learner. With over 15 years of experience teaching science across both state and independent schools, I bring a wide range of knowledge and approaches to the classroom.

I believe that science is best understood when it is connected to everyday life, so I strive to bring the curriculum to life by linking learning to real-world experiences. I have extensive experience in adapting and developing curricula to meet the needs of the learners in front of me, ensuring that each young person can access and enjoy their education in a way that works for them.

Outside of The Haven, I live in the South West of England with my husband and our two autistic children, which gives me a personal understanding of the importance of inclusive and supportive learning environments. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, running, and campanology (bell ringing), which reflects my love of both quiet focus and community activity.
