We use Canvas to host some of our flexible, self-paced course content. It’s a safe and simple platform that lets you (or your child) learn in your own time, at your own pace from anywhere. Below you’ll find answers to some of the most common questions from our community.

Just click the enrolment link. You’ll be taken to Canvas, where you can create a free account if you don’t already have one. Once that’s set up, you’ll have instant access to your chosen course when we launch.

Canvas is an online learning platform that helps us deliver beautifully designed, easy-to-use courses. It works on laptops, tablets and phones, and allows us to embed videos, quizzes, downloadable resources and creative tasks in one calming space.

Nope. All you need is a free student account to access The Haven’s courses. No hidden costs, no surprise subscriptions.

Yes! Canvas works brilliantly on mobile devices. Just download the Canvas Student App from the App Store or Google Play, and you’ll be learning on the go in no time.

Most of our courses are self-paced, so you can dip in and out whenever suits your rhythm. If a course includes live sessions or time-sensitive tasks, we’ll make that really clear in the course description.

Yes. You can set up a Canvas Observer account, which lets you quietly keep an eye on how things are going. We’ll send simple instructions for this after enrolment — no tech skills required.

Most courses come with at least 6 months of access — enough time to revisit, rewatch, and reflect as many times as you like. Each course description will confirm the exact timeframe.

Yes — once all the core learning activities are complete, you’ll receive a digital certificate of completion you can download or share.
